We human beings are social creatures and we were made for community and friendship:
“Man cannot live without love. He remains a being that is incomprehensible for himself, his life is senseless, if love is not revealed to him, if he does not encounter love, if he does not experience it and make it his own, if he does not participate intimately in it” (Pope St. John Paul II).
Jesus Christ shows us how to love one another and gives us the grace to be united in him while also respecting and cherishing the uniqueness of each person. UofL Catholic Campus Ministry provides a community in which students form life-long friendships rooted in their Catholic faith and their love for Jesus Christ.
Our community celebration of the Eucharist overflows into community brunch after the 11am Sunday Mass at Holy Name Church. We have regular social events for fun activities like game nights, bonfires, movies, icecream, art, athletics and whatever else we enjoy doing together.
We also have monthly Hikes or other trips, Retreats each semester and Mission trips, as well as weekly opportunities to get involved in service, Bible studies, small groups, and other activities.
Fill out the interest form so that we can get to know you better and receive more information about events and activities that interest you!
