We put our faith and love of God into action through loving our neighbor, or as Mother Teresa of Calcutta says, “loving Jesus in the distressing disguise of those in need.”
We seek to love our neighbors in the UofL community, the local community, and beyond through weekly and seasonal service activities and Spring Break trips.
*** For Christmas Break:
Want to give back this Christmas season? There are many service opportunities with Catholic Charities of Louisville Migration and Refugee Services.
The Migration and Refugee Services (MRS) “welcomes the stranger” with open arms, helping those escaping persecution begin new lives with dignity.
* On Friday, December 11th, 1-4pm we will take a group of volunteers to help organize donations for the Christmas program with MRS, where clients and their families receive presents donated from the community.
*On Friday, December 18th, 1-4pm we will take a group of volunteers to help guide clients in MRS to their presents in the Saint Anthony's Church.
