We put our faith and love of God into action through loving our neighbor, or as Mother Teresa of Calcutta says, “loving Jesus in the distressing disguise of those in need.”
We seek to love our neighbors in the UofL community, the local community, and beyond through weekly, monthly, and seasonal service activities and Spring Break trips.
Weekly service opportunities include serving at the Franciscan Kitchen on Wednesday mornings. We will soon also have the opportunity to serve weekly at the Catholic Charities food pantry at Holy Name parish next to the UofL campus.
We also gather monthly on Fridays @ 4:30pm in the Interfaith Center to make burritos to give to those in need through a program called Burrito Riders.
