The university is a Catholic invention based upon the understanding that the God who revealed himself to us in Jesus Christ also created the universe and gave each human person the desire to know the truth and a mind to pursue it.
We encourage students to deepen their knowledge of their Catholic faith and their field(s) of study at the university to arrive at a mature and integrated understanding of God, themselves, and the universe. Questions are welcome. Answers are pursued together.
Each week, in addition to Bible studies and small groups, we have talks on how to live out our faith in the world today, especially on campus. Our Faith & Reason discussions at 7pm on Wednesday evenings treat the pressing issues of today. We also have a Thomistic Institute chapter and book club to pursue a deeper knowledge of our faith.
We also offer retreats and conferences to encounter God more deeply and learn about his wonderful plan for our lives and students in our community regularly discuss theology, the "hot topics" of today, and how to better understand, live out, and share the Catholic Faith.
